Emanuel "The Madness" March: Training at White Rock

At just 23 years old and standing tall at 6'3", this cruiserweight boxer from Blair, South Carolina, is going to be a name to watch. Emanuel March was born and raised on a family farm in Blair. Growing up, he was in various sports, including basketball and football, at Fairfield Central High School. It was during these formative years that he discovered his passion — boxing.

Emanuel March Pro Debut at Summer Showdown

On July 19, 2025, Emanuel "The Madness" March stepped into the ring to make his professional debut. The event, "Summer Showdown," hosted by Stokes Promotions, took place at the Jamil Temple in Columbia, South Carolina. March won by first-round knockout.

2025 SC Golden Gloves & Carolina Boxing Hall of Fame

David Barnett hosts the Golden Gloves for the 4th time. Jacob Snyder, a Golden Glove Champion from White Rock Boxing in 2012, served as referee. Billy Stanick and the White Rock team attended to support our fighters.

DeAundre Pettus Prepares for ESPN Fight

Local boxer DeAundre "Dixianimal" Pettus prepared for his nationally televised fight on ESPN. "Being from the south, we don't get credit in boxing at all. I feel like a pioneer for the sport down here to inspire other fighters," said Pettus.

Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame 2024

The 2024 Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame event was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Charlotte, NC. White Rock Boxing's Billy Stanick, a board member since 2010, attended with the gym family.

Carolina's Boxing Hall of Fame Showcase

The showcase, designed by Billy Stanick and fabricated by Jason Newton at Stanick Sheet Metal & Roofing Company, is 18 ft. long and 6 ft. high with shelves 2 ft. wide. The frame is made of ½" aluminum tubing welded with aluminum metal sides and tops.

Lamar Parks Nominated to Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame

Billy Stanick nominated Lamar Parks to the Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame. Parks, from Greenville, SC, had an incredible amateur record of 175-13 with five SC Golden Gloves Championships and three Southeastern Regional titles. He fought in the finals of the 1988 Olympics.

Boxing Action at the Jamil Temple

Stevenson Thomas, fighting out of White Rock Boxing Gym (3-0 as a pro), won his bout by four-round decision over Lordjod Pannell. Approximately 1,800 fans attended the Stokes Promotions event.

Anna Crutchfield Pro Debut

Anna Crutchfield made her pro debut at the Trussville Civic Center in Alabama, facing Rotenberry Labonty.

Bill Clancy Retires as Referee

After 41 years and 1,206 fights as a referee, Bill Clancy retired as the third man in the ring and accepted a position as the Regulatory Operations Administrator for the Virginia Professional Boxing, MMA & Wrestling Commission.
